A Few Months After Season 2 Premiere, Halo is Discontinued
This news comes some months after the second one season of the stay-action display, based totally on a online game, commenced in February. The organizations behind Halo, inclusive of Amblin Television, Xbox, and 343 Industries, are trying to find a new area for the show to air.

In Season 2 of Halo, Master Chief John-117 leads his team of elite Spartans against the alien group called the Covenant. Following a surprising event on a deserted planet, John feels that his war is about to change. Consequently, he takes a big risk to prove that the Covenant are planning to attack humanity’s greatest stronghold. As a result, with the galaxy in danger, John sets out to find the key to saving humanity or facing its destruction — the Halo.
Halo’s Universe: A 26th Century Conflict
The show, led by David Wiener, takes place in a world first introduced in 2001 with the launch of the Xbox Halo game. It dramatizes a huge conflict in the 26th century between humans and an alien threat known as the Covenant.
Key Cast Members and Their Roles
Halo stars Pablo Schreiber (American Gods) as Master Chief, Spartan-117, and Natascha McElhone (Californication) as Dr. Halsey, who both serve as producers this season. Other returning cast members include Jen Taylor (Halo game series, RWBY) as Cortana, Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo), Shabana Azmi (Fire), Natasha Culzac (The Witcher), Olive Gray (Half Moon Investigations), Yerin Ha (Reef Break), Bentley Kalu (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Kate Kennedy (Catastrophe), Charlie Murphy (Peaky Blinders), and Danny Sapani (Penny Dreadful).
